Sorry it took awhile to get back to you. Ya I still got the head and adapter. Heres my email to make the final arrangements and so forth. cib_1@hotmail.com
I used it up until fall of 2009. Just decided to get a poly head. We had it on our TR 85 and they are exactly the same as a TR70 as far as the feederhouse goes. $2000 for the pair. The gathering chains and the sprockets were new in 2005. Probably around 2000 acres on them. Just let me know.
I have a Massey 63C cornhead with the bish adapter on it. We just traded up to a newer poly NH head and dont need the bish anymore. Would be interested in selling the pair. Let me know
we use a 7230 with an orthman knife on the front of the tractor and a one step pickett on the back 3pt...so in one operation we knife and windrow them behind...we usually do this when the beans start yellowing up, i don't really know percent-wise. the beans are mature when we do this...you have to run at night when the humidity is up and the pods are like damp leather sacks....trying to get away from this. Some guys in the area tried some upright beans this year and was going to harvest with a flex platform...haven't heard how they did or how it all worked...we tried swathing the beans down with a MacDon swather last year, had a pick-up real and a conveyer belt platform to windrow them...pretty sweet concept but needed to be a flex platform to work even better....lot less dirt in the sample where we didn't knife them...we hate running all that dirt through the machine. Bunch of guys up around Yuma, Co that swath beans up there. Hope i answered you question. take care
Thanx for under standing not to many people under stand why I'm not on here that much. Thats cool you grow the same as we do but the beans lol so how have you ben doing. I'm doing ok can't wait tell it slows down lol..

Thanks,

Yea it worked good, 5-10% slippage in some rather gumbo type soils. We were plowing 10-12" deep. Working about 4-4.5mph. 6 bottom rollover plow
