Well what type of vac pump are you looking for are you looking for a regular one that runs the same speed and vac  all the time or go the route of having a variable speed vac pump it will only deliver the the amount you need depending on how many milkers are on etc. as for milking parlor you could milk up to 100 cows easy in a double 4 in 3 to 4 hours depending if you have a crowd gate do you want to get bigger or stay the same. as for feed cost do you make your own cow and calf grain if not you might want to look into doing that plus if your using expensive minerals calf starter or milk replacer try shopping around for the same quality but at cheaper price granted the knock off version is not always the same as the expensive one but till things come down it could cut cost

well my strong points are milking and feeding I am certified to breed but never have got to really gain expirence. um herd health I can do basic herd health work but I deff need more experience. I was forced to get an in town job when i came back home due to my families small farm size and as time goes on I realize that i may not be able to take over the farm due to other family members so I am starting to look for other options.
