we didnt exactly buy the land, my sister inlaws grandpa run 1200 acres crop farm now and he is getting up there and we currently farm that, but we have to wait to purcahse it. Raising heifers are okay, as long as we can get a descent amount for them, which we have been lucky getting 1400-1700.. we take them to an auction in brooklyn every couple mounth before they are due to calf. other than that its good. We are small heifer farm at the moment and hope to keep expanding in the future..

NO, I am done with school. My brother and I milked cows and we sold the cows last spring, the biggest mistake ever. Thinking about getting some more. But we crop from corn, and sybeans and have some hay ground. We also buy and raise heifers and steers and sell them. I do work part time at a hardware store, durning the pff seasons. But thats all for us. I hope you decide what you going to do and save tons of money. I am currently repaying my students loans and its a huge debt, and a pain in the ass. If I could do it again, I wouldnt go to school or if I did I would go to a technical college. Good luck with your decesion

That sucks you had to drop out for personel reasons.. were are you at now? What are you doing? You still milking cows or doing something with agriculture?
