I'm hearing + & - about various makes/models chopping heads. I just saw (2) JD 608C 8-row chopping heads:

2009 JD 608C, excellent, sold 12/2/09 north-central IA sale: $57,000
2009 JD 608C, excellent, sold 12/5/09 south-central MN sale: $57,000

Here's what a few JD 612C's have been selling for:

2008 JD 612C, good, sold 3/26/09 north-central IA sale: $61,000
2008 JD 612C, excellent, sold 1/2/09 north-central IN sale: $72,000
2008 JD 612C, excellent, sold 12/16/08 southeast IA sale: $64,000
2008 JD 612C, excellent, sold 12/17/08 west-central MN sale: $79,500

Here are (4) Harvestec heads I've seen sold in 2009:
2005 16R-22, good, sold 7/29/09 east-central ND sale: $32,000
2005 16R-22, good, sold 3/11/09 east-central ND sale: $16,000
2006 4308C, good, sold 7/29/09 east-central ND sale: $29,000
