I haven't been back home since my father passed away in 2005 ( We had the service for him in Galion). I know that some areas of the country got a lot of rain this spring but I didn't know about up home. I grew up small scale farming with my father and grandfather. I went to Ohio State Univ. and Majored in Soils Science. I remember sometime back in the 80's or 90's up there, there was an extensive DROUGHT I remember driving around and seeing a lot of the fields with burnd-out areas. This is similiar.
