Farmers || Future

I think I maybe sort of in a pickle. I really want to get started farming again, but I also have a high paying job in town, which I enjoy. I would like to gradually get into farming. I want to start slow buy some crop ground and raise cattle and then when I am ready bring in the cows and go all the way.. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get this started.. I been looking at information, but not sure what way to go.

thanks for your help

Buy the house and 10 acres as a base of operations. Then take the plunge. I started two years ago with 150 owned and 110 acres rented. Own the planter and the tractor and hire the spraying and combining to start. (preserves cash flow and your vacation) Grow as cash and opportunities arise. Remember to have fun!
