The farmer wave. The most recognizable body language used between farmers. There are many ways to "wave" at your fellow farmer, but we don't know them all. How do farmers wave in your neck of the woods? Drop a comment (or post a picture). Keep it appropriate!

Thanks for the comments, everyone! It's fun to see what people have to say about their "Farmer Wave".

Hey in my neck of the woods it's just lifting your hand and showing it to the other person real quick if that makes sense

a while back my uncle from Omaha originally but has lived all over the US was riding with my dad to town a whopping two miles from town.  After the sixth car my dad waved at my uncle had to ask if he knew any of the people he met driving so far.  My dad replied 'no but that one person that you don't wave at will let you know you missed him when they see you next.'  My uncle couldn't understand the why.  'Because it's neighborly.'

David,I really enjoyed your post. Here in Arkansas a wave is usually one finger over the sterring wheel when you meet traffic,a hand out the window if a neighbor is going around you.One older gentleman caught me in town one day and thanked me for"speaking to him"when I waved.  Thanks,Rick
