Got missed by the rain again.  It evaporates or goes around us every time.  In three weeks since we planted we have gotten a 1/4 inch.  the corn rolled up this weekend with the heat and the sidehills are starting to die in places.  The beans are barely emerged and look like they need a drink.  I give it another week or two of high heat and we'll be out for the season.

Were startin to burn up in central NE also. Luckily most people have irrigation, but we are ridging corn light just to get water down some rows. We will have to ridge it deeper in a few weeks....

we have had about 3 inches since planting, which is better than nothing. But you cant hardly tell that it has rained because it has been soo dry. Hopefully you all get some good, because the crops need it. good luck

We have only received 5 tenths since planting 3 weeks ago.  Its holding on but we are getting nervous.  Started to roll some before the little rain we did receive.  Sandy spots and hills are burning up here also.
