No Pasture Left in Southern Wisconsin

We've begun feeding hay to our beef cows since the pasture is completely gone. We haven't had any rain, beyond a few hopeful drops, since late May and now we can't find any hay that hasn't doubled in price.

Anyone know of a source for good grassy, beef cow hay close to southwestern Wisconsin. I'll take a semi-load!

It's going to be a long, expensive winter!

I would gladly give ya all the hay off our crp and ditches. I get sick of mowing them. We have had plenty of rain.

what a great idea! This is how this country is supposed to work. A true testiment to the values of American Farmers.

Check out what an innovative and giving farmer in Wisconsin is doing to help cattle farmers in his area.

I'd love to get more information about the hay around Juda - that is really close! I just sent a "friend request" so we can exchange information.

There might be some located by Juda WI, if your interested. I am not sure how much he will charge, but I can get the number if you would like to call. I can ask if he has any left?
