I'm a small corn, soybean and hog farmer in SW MN. This is my 6th year of farming. My primary source of income is my job as a software consultant. My family consists of two little boys (5 & 4) who love to tag along with my dad and I, my 7 month old daughter and my wife who is a part-time nurse at our local hospital. Needless to say we are busy!!

Hi Jason! Where are you in SW MN? I just made the decision to partner with my dad on the farm. I have been in technology sales for the last 4 years and we currently live in a suburb of the twin cities, so this will be a big change for us! I am married and have a 4 and a 2 year old (boys).

How did you get started farming and what kind of software consulting do you do?
