iam a young farmer doing it part time in hog farming, corn and pinnaple here in Uganda. I have learnt a lot from the forum and enjoyed the discussions much as some technology is too advanced.
My primary occupation is orthopaedic surgery but I have a great desire to feed the starving populations here home

Thanx jeff for the encouragement.the immediate plans I have is to get basic mechanisation to reduce on the labour costs for the corn farming the construct a silo for storage to take us through the hunger season but also to ensure that the small scale farmers can keep their corn and sale when the price is right in this way encourage rural development near my farm. It would be also nice to test the good breeds of corn and hog to see whether we can increase productivity.
