Great Start to Planting

We've been busy the last couple of weeks because we've been busy planting. We are about 2/3 done with our corn. Some guys in our area are already done with their corn! The planting conditions have been great - the top inch in dry and the inch below has moisture. We haven't seen planting conditions like this ever since we started farming after college, and both of our Dads say it is some of the best planting conditions that they've ever seen. Spring Planting is about to begin

We are proud to say, we are planning on starting to plant corn tomorrow. The soil temperature isn't quite warm enough for germination, but we are going to get in the field while we can. It is suppose to be a really nice week weather wise this week. We've been doing some cultivating and applying anhydrous the last week or so to get ready for planting. Here's wishing all of you a good spring!
