We raise 4500 acres of corn, wheat, and soybeans annually, depending on rotation more or less of certain crops. This year was our big corn year with nearly 2500 acres. The weather is treating us decent, with all the rain that we got during planting slowed us up a lot, we were still planting beans the end of June, and those weren't replants. But thankfully we have gotten lucky that the rains keep falling, so we aren't going to be losing crop due to poor root systems and lack of rain. No we don't milk, all of our cattle are beef. There are 75 head of colored cattle that my grandpa plays around with, and our holstein steers all come from large dairy's in PA, NY, MI, and IN. We buy them in anywhere from 300-750lbs and feed them out. But I do have a special place for the dairy industry in my heart lol. I work on two dairy's as well as our family farm to help get me through school.
How bout your operation, what's it like where your at??

Hey Mike, just thought I'd check in and see how weather's been treating you guys in the northeast. I assume you're dairy farmers? How's the soil moisture levels in your area?

Cat built 2 or three of those tractor for a milestone production number or a anniversery. Then used them as show tractors. I think I need to repaint my MT765 to match.

I got about 3 inches of the storm but we got had winds. my family farm was about 80 -85 head we milked them by pile. we sold all the cows off last winter.

Hows the weather out east? Did you catch alot of that last storm? The part that moved west into my area moved east so Fargo, ND (I go to college at NDSU) only got about 2 inches out of it. What kind of an operation do you have?
