are you sure the new fords are going to have cummins? I know they are changing them but it's still a V8, so that wouldn't be cummins. just asking

a dodge is a hell of a lot better then a ford. the chevy Dmaxes are the best trucks. but i get what i can aford! lol

Yeah the leveling kits are more of a necessary thing out here than a just because thing. I just saw those fire trucks and started to laugh cause I could only imagine them trying to figure out how to fight it. Our fire districts have very modified "brush fire" engines that have remote controlled water guns on the front of a truck so one guy can drive the truck and work the gun at the same time. Kinda neat because they drive right over the line of the fire all the while spraying it down. All the trucks are 4x4 and have special low center of gravity water tanks on them. More or less a needed thing in this area since we only get 19 inches on a good year of rain so it gets really dry around here and have many small fires throughout the year with one or two real big ones. This year was good for wheat harvest all the fires this year stayed under 5000 acres.

Lol, you are kidding right... Flat ground? I would get bored in about 30 seconds. Its much more fun never knowing when your going to take off sliding and having to plan ahead how your going to make a turn. Plus we don't have to move field to field very often when each is 500 acres. I know what you mean by fire, had a bearing seize up on me this year as well and burned up a small area in the engine compartment. One of those greasable bearings that should have not gone, but did anyways. Your fire department does not look set up very well for field fires, im surprised they dident get those trucks stuck out there.
