Got missed by the rain again. It evaporates or goes around us every time. In three weeks since we planted we have gotten a 1/4 inch. the corn rolled up this weekend with the heat and the sidehills are starting to die in places. The beans are barely emerged and look like they need a drink. I give it another week or two of high heat and we'll be out for the season.

A neighbors 160 acres are up for sale. The lawyer sent out a newsletter stating the starting bid is set at $10,000. That blows me out of the water before I even get my big toe wet. So disappointed.
