I have been working on my budget for next season.  While I am still waiting on some chemical prices, so far my projected imput prices are similar to the 2010 crop year prices. My hybrid rice seed has increased, but soybean seed is the about the same, and in some cases lower.  I am still optimistic that fertilizer prices will come down some.  What are you seeing?See More

Hello MATTEW. Thanks for getting back with me. For a while in the early 80's I was working for Case Equipment company in Alvin, Texas selling Case Ag. Tractors. But I always liked the JD's much better I am interested in buying a small farm in my retirement in either the Quachita's or the Ozark's. How is the general Ag situation in this area? Thanks for getting back with me and best regards, MARTIN.
