We just saw another record spring in the tiling industry. Even with resin prices increasing almost weekly, it is not putting a dent into the installation of drain tile.Do you have any stories, ideas,…Continue
I am a Product Specialist for Timewell Tile. We have two manufacturing plants for Agricultural Drainage Tile, one in Timewell, Illinois and the other in Providence, Kentucky. I represent the Kentucky market. My territory covers all of Kentucky, Tennessee, and Southern Indiana. Our company services nearly all of the midwest, Iowa, Wisconsin, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennesse, and parts of Alabama & Nebraska.
Professionally speaking, I believe yield monitors do not lie. Tiling is the single-most work you can do to your land that gives you the best return on money spent. Tile machine manufacturers have created plows that are nearly fool-proof in most situations that allow almost any farmer who can operate a tractor or dozer to tile on their own. I also believe that any ground can be tiled, and that even the driest of ground still yields plenty more if tiled.
Personally speaking, I live in Louisville, KY. I travel extensively to visit farmers and contractors across three states. I have an 8 year-old daughter and two big dogs that like to travel with me when given the chance. I love my job and I love our industry. There is nothing better than what we do.
I am on this site to offer feedback and suggestions on tiling and the product, as well as learn more about the everyday ins and outs of our community. I look forward to meeting some good folks!
If anyone has any tiling questions, I will be glad to help (to the best of my knowledge of course).
