My Name's Nick, nice to meet ya, I love going muddin. I love Ag. I especially love Farming and cows. My favorite tractor is John Deere. Nothing Runs Like A Deere! I might go to college, Still Deciding. Talk to ya later, Nick
"ha yea I agree... new deere's not so much lol I mean they are nice but we keep having emission problems and deere wont help us out at all.. our 8530 was in the shop for 4 weeks during harvest when it should have been pulling our grain cart..…"
"Always loved horses. Been looking to get a couple Horse's in the Future. If I do get one, it would have a be another Appaloosa. Well as of right now, just goats & chickens. I'm more of a Grain Farmer."
"I was just wondering if you knew them or not.
Beautiful Looking Horse in the Photo. Is it a Paint Horse?
We had several pony's. One was a Paint, and the other was
a Appaloosa. The Appaloosa, had a Great personality."
As a Sophomore I'm trying to plan out what I want to do for college. My family has been in the farming business for a long time. I have a Agriculture background in grain farming. I'm wanting to major in something that deals in Owning Your Own Farm.Like Ag Business. I was thinking about dairy farming. But I'm gonna stick with the Grain Operation. If you have any tips just send me a message! I would really appreciate it.
ha yea I agree... new deere's not so much lol I mean they are nice but we keep having emission problems and deere wont help us out at all.. our 8530 was in the shop for 4 weeks during harvest when it should have been pulling our grain cart.. they say after the warranty is up on "new" equipment get rid of it...! lol just because of the emissions in these new tractors.. I could go on and on about deere but yea i like there old stuff... we are pretty much all green except for my dad is buying a new case 8120 combine because of once again another problem with deere..lol and we take good care of our stuff two they don't get beat lol. and yea sometimes i think its to much farming lol
The crops are doing fairly well here. We've gotten a good amount of needed rain here in the last week, but we really need to get some warmer temperatures. Wheat harvest is going decent. One of my buddies was getting anywhere from 60 to 80 bushel/Acre, and one farmer that i work for was getting 101 bushel/Acre just the other day! How's everything in your area?
