I spent most of my summer traveling around the state of Wisconsin promoting agriculture at county fairs in Jefferson, Dane, Waukesha, Ozaukee, county fairs as well as the State
fair. While memories wander throughout my day dreams, my nose and
stomach are tempted by the smells of roasted sweet corn, turkey legs,
cream puffs, cotton candy and pulled pork sandwiches. If you let me, I

During the finals for the 2010 Dodge County Fairest of the Fair, I was asked to answer an impromptu question which was, how can we encourage more kids to stay active within their 4-H and FFA Clubs when it may

This year the theme for Pierce County’s 2010 Farm Technology Days was, “the power of agriculture” and no other theme could have been more fitting than this. I had the pleasure to
work on the publicity and promotional committee from October of 2009 to spread
the word as well as organize our media day prior to the event in July. What most people do not know is that this
three day out door farm show which travels around the state each year takes
