Yes, a new head will go on any older machine. You have to have the adapter kit, there is a kit for feederhouse mounts, it consists of replacement ears that are the new style. It requires drilling and tapping the holes for new bigger flat head bolt...

Yes they are yetter. Everything else is from the factory deere. Yea we strictly no-till, we currently have this set up(except yetter spider wheels a little different) How do you like the yetter shark tooths?

I am in pretty much the same position that you are in. You could try Craigslist. I found an ad on there and got ground in exchange for brush hogging two horse pastures twice a year.
