Anyone using auto steer with WAAS? We've had a guidance system for a few years now but we recently upgraded with EZ Steer. We've talked to a few people and they all say waas usually works ok with…Continue

feedlot capacity?

I recently have acquired access to a small lot of about 3 or 4 acres with a couple little buildings that could be used to finish a few calves. However I am strictly a row crop farmer and know little to nothing about cattle. My question is how many feeder calves approximately would I be able to fit in this lot? Is there really even any limitations as long as its below 10 or 15? Thanks in advance.See More

Bronson Allred replied to Jerry's discussion john deere 7720 titan ll , the good and the bad
"I agree with zach. We own a 7720 (not titan II however) and they are an ok combine but if I was in the market for a new one, I would definitely wait until i could afford an International or at least a newer Deere. A 1460 IH or 1660 Case…"

"We've owned a 1370 Case which has the 504 engine for about 30 years. Those old cases were always good running things. I wouldn't agree with the easy cold starting though. Ours has to be plugged in around 40 degrees. Our 1466 International…"

the young farmer and the white house

As the presidential race is getting heated, a few conversations have been brought up as to who would be the best presidential candidate for the upcoming election. I come from a family that doesn't own gobs of ground that is going to get handed to me some day so I feel that something big needs to happen with land prices if the young/beginning farmer is going to survive. Just curious as to who you all think would be a good candidate as well as what all do you think needs to be done to help the…See More
