Micycle, Why is it that you are only heard from when someone mentions Monsanto. All your posts sound like they are coming from a scorned woman. No offense to you of course. You need to lay off it....

We have had this JD 336 baler on the farm since 70's something, baled I don't know "tens of thousands" with the kicker. wouldn't have anything else. esp if your by yourself like I was in the 80's. Baled a field alone with a baleking wagon of the t...

My opinion as a New Holland sale rep I would go with the Holscher and get the aux pump that runs the table off of the fly wheel or Koyker makes on very similar to the Holschler I have used the holschler for a few yrs my customers say they lose alo...

I would go with an accumulator and a grabber for a loader tractor. Holscher takes hydraulics and is kinda touchy on dialing in proper pressure. Another option is a Kuhns which uses no hydraulics (my choice if it were me) Both companies make grabbers.

Another take on this is if you already have a baler of the non hurling type, get a bale basket. I dont have any personal experiences with them, but they could be a cheaper investment as opposed to getting a new baler.

if your going to get into square bales get a new holland baler. they will eat hay faster then other small square balers. another bit of advice, get one that has a model 70 thrower on it. that model has been used on lots of new holland balers and i...

i know some guys like the kicker because it dosent rub the leaves off the outside of alfalfa bales. so the bales look nicer. i assume the kicker baler is a deere. from what i know they are not as high capacity as some others.

The FSA is a great help. They have many different very low interest options. I am currently going through the process of applying for an beginner farmer direct operating loan. The operating loans max out at 300,000 and the land purchase loan maxes...

I wish I could say the same. NJ has crap for parts now that there is more pavement then farmland. We have to go out to PA for everything. The Deere dealer, Pole Tavern, in south jersey is about as useful as tits on a bull. I had an old 36T baler t...

adam, I would rather pick every ear of corn, every soybean, or every piece of grain by hand then own a green machine. lol. and yes I could never buy a new combine right now. haha.
