That's just a prime example of MOST college professors, all they can do is preach and teach cuz they wouldn't make it out in the real world where there is REAL work!. No offense to teachers now... just most college professors are..... strange?!

Michigan State University is an excellent agricultural college!
U of ILL in Champaign is a great school, U of Neb-Lincoln has some good folks teaching there that have alot of breeding experience. At one time, U of Cali-Davis had a good program together for breeders.

General Public Ignorance
Today I had to sit through an hour and a half of my bio teacher condemning the beef and dairy industries. She said that farmers feed the cattle antibiotics willy nilly just because they can. They do this to make the cattle grow faster. So the cattle are fed these antibiotics and then they go to market w/them in their bodies and the masses consume them. - what do you plan on studying? where are you going to school? I showed cattle for about 7 years, but I liked prepping the animals more than I liked showing... Right now, I'm just working a commercial herd and I think I like that the best.
