This was taken in the stand of corn west of the house. Thankfully, MN hasn't been hit by the drought and we have been getting rain. This field hasn't yet begun to tassel. The color is nice.

Comment by Tony Eickman on July 26, 2012 at 8:43pm I think yesterday did it in for the corn in my neighborhood. Before we had spots but today there were large areas of dead looking corn. Wind knocked some over too but like dad said the corn probably thanked God to be put out of it's misery.

We missed the rain again with the front that went through tonight. Happy to see someone make it this year unscathed though.
