I am looking into a bale processor to process straw, corn stalk, and grass hay to use in my feed ration fed by a feed wagon.  Used one's are rare, but I found one fairly close.  It is a Teagle Tomahawk.  Does any one know anything about these?  Any other advice about bale processors?

Hey David, we bought a vermeer processor and love it alot. It built very well and has no moving parts to wear out...you can also get a final cut to put on them and you can use them as a mini tub grinder...also check out tractorhouse.com
This tomahawk will chop it up fine, or you can remove some of the knives to make it coarser.  Are you grinding hay for rations or grinding hay for cows?  What all are you using it for? Iwant to hear all the info about these things I can.
we are just using it to feed cows with and to bed down our feed yards...when using it to bed lots you will use 50 percent less straw...we also bed down our calving barns works get..when feeding cows with it they eat every last bit of it

Cool, I'm excited.

I ended up buying it, if any one has any advice for them or tips onhow to utilize it well let me know.
