I was just wondering what you've been paying for imputs these day, seed chemicals, fertilizer, etc, and what your thoughts are?

$545/ton Potash by semi load from River in Keokuck, Iowa
$775/Ton NH3 locked for Fall 2011 with 50% down now
$757/Ton NH3 paid up Front now for Fall 2011
$6/ton for Lime
$4.25/ton per acre for Application
ha, I think everybody, myself included, is afraid to say because of looking like a dumb ass for paying too much or looking like a lier for getting a good deal!
Has anyone tried getting bio solids or lime from waste and water treatment plants or get manure from a local farmer that is looking for more ground to get rid of his manure on

i get slude from the local city they cover 80 acres also buy in chicken littler but we have to truck it 200 miles it was a lot better deal back in jan when we baught it
