Farmers || Future

I'm looking a an IH 1700 truck that has Hydraulic brakes. I dont know much about hydraulic brakes . Do they work good?  should i keep looking and find something different? I'm planing on hauln round bales on it. Any help is great!. Thanks!

Air is better. But we have had a few IH trucks with wet brakes with little problems. Just more stopping power with air.

If the price is right don't be afraid of it. I run two chevys from the 60's with hydraulic brakes and they work just like a normal truck would. Just need more distance to slow down when loaded.

x2  air is better  but if the price is right  I wouldn't be afraid.  Bobtail or tandem?

its a bobtail. The guys asking 4500.00

would not be afraid of hydro brakes air brakes can be better for more power but usually hydro brakes are fine for most hauling on level ground if you are in hilly area strongly consider air brakes
