What are part of agriculture are you most interested in?
production would be my main interest so i was trying to think of custom work or support services that would coincide with production agriculture.
A classmate of mine and his dad have a manufacturing/manure pumping business called Puck Custom Enterprises or PCE for short and before that they sheared sheep when sheep were popular in the 80's.  When asked why they do that type of business the old man replied 'because nobody else wants to do those jobs'.  And that is my two cents for you.  Find a niche that nobody wants to do but also something you want to do.
Is there any part of production you really enjoy or are interested and knowledgable in more than otheres.  Start there.
Geek squad for precision-   When its time to plant and the swath pro isnt working your the geek to call.  Buy an ethanol powered VW and paint it like a soybean or an ear of corn!     Build precison maps...  ect  Great space and strong and growing demand.
cool suggestion. maybe instead of white shirt and black tie it could be green shirt, yellow tie.
Get about 8 3x4 balers and 4 stingers and come on up and work for us. We desperatley need custom baling and stacking.
How about a Precision Ag service. For example sell and service Guidance systems, variable rate controllers, field mapping. And you could use the field mapping info to manage customers fields like say when they are applying fertilizers, irrigation, planting etc.
That's definitely something ill look into. thank you for the idea

if you dont mind working with computers and guidance systems you could work with the designers on new software for combines and planting equipement and if you like being in the field not in the office you could be part of the crew that does field tests on new software equipement

Jordan,

I just finished watching this brilliant piece of marketing know-how on TED.com from Simon Sinek: http://ning.it/cpLsJk

Maybe start there?

That was a very interesting and inspiring video thank you for sharing that
