Farmers || Future

I recently have acquired access to a small lot of about 3 or 4 acres with a couple little buildings that could be used to finish a few calves. However I am strictly a row crop farmer and know little to nothing about cattle. My question is how many feeder calves approximately would I be able to fit in this lot? Is there really even any limitations as long as its below 10 or 15? Thanks in advance.

There would be no problem with 10 -15 hd in that much lot.   Do you have a feeding prgram fiured out?  Is there a bunk or feeder?  How much space # of head does it support?  Really work your numbers on the buy and the selling, healhcare, and especially feed.  Many people do feed a small number of catte, but it does not mean they all make money, especially using the true market costs of the feed stuff they grow.
