I'm thinking about buying a few to mix in with my dads cow herd, how has it been working for you?

The goats will work extremely well if you are mixing your animals on a mixed pasture. The goats wil stick to eating shrubs and legume plants while the cattle will most likely stick to grass. If they are all on straight grass, you'll find you may need to assist the goats with an alfalfa bale or some sortt of higher protien source like grain.
