Hard to say with no other information

There a great combine, but purchasing used you need to check everything on it so you know it's not a lemon.  My advice- Take a GOOD mechanic that knows the combine inside and out with you to go look at it.

we bought a 7720 and it is a fantastic machine. But as Mr, Burrows said you need to be sure that it was taken care of isnt rotted out or rusted through any where. other than that there isnt any reason buying one would be a problem

the 7720's are a nice step up from the 7700's, which i my mind were a nightmare of a combine to work on, and not verry good in grain.  longer walkers in the 7720's helped.   i would strongly compare prices with 9500.  seen alot of these machines sell for not much more than the titians, and in my mind its nice not to have to take the seat out of the cab every time you need to replace a belt.  but i guess i was never a fan of any front engine combine!

I would say no we ran a 7720 turbo for 10 years at least. Then we went to a 9410 the jd 9000 series are much more operator frendly and are easyer to operate, If i were in your shoes I would spend the extra $ on a good 9400-10 9500-10 money well spent.
